Sweet Lab: Bake, Create, Celebrate

A collaboration between the Culinary Studio and Great River Children's Museum

Aprons on, creativity flowing, and something sweet in the oven — welcome to Sweet Lab! Great River Children's Museum is partnering with the Culinary Studio to bring Sweet Lab: Bake, Create, Celebrate — a hands-on mini camp where young bakers mix, decorate, and create their way through three days of the most fun (and delicious) treats we've ever made.

Each morning brings a brand-new challenge — from the ultimate Brownies vs. Blondies taste test to swirly Swiss Rolls and sparkling Disco Rice Krispies to show-stopping Mini Celebration Cakes decorated just the way they like them. Along the way, campers build real baking skills, discover what makes each recipe tick, and leave every day with something sweet to share — and serious bragging rights.

This isn't just about following recipes — it's about building confidence, trying new things, and having a total blast in the kitchen.

Camp Details

July 7–9, 2026 Tuesday–Thursday | 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM Ages 7–12 | $200 per camper

(*A limited number of half-price scholarships are now available for our Culinary Studio camps. Only 10 scholarship spots are available per camp session and will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Register below for the $100 scholarship fee.)

BONUS: Stay & Play for FREE. Campers and their caregivers are invited to stay & play at the museum after camp for FREE. Just let the team know when you arrive and they will set it up!

Spots are limited to 20 campers, so early registration is encouraged. Come bake, create, and celebrate something delicious!
